Terms and Conditions
Contract
These terms and conditions set out fully the agreement between you (the camper) and us (Kings Green Caravan Park) in relation to our supply of services to you. Only these terms and conditions apply to our contract with you.
By making a booking or reservation in advance you are presumed to have read, understood, agreed to and accepted these terms and conditions.
If arriving on site without reservation a copy of these terms and conditions will be made available for you to read. Once you have registered and paid you are presumed to have read, understood, agreed to and accepted these terms and conditions.
We reserve the right to make changes to these terms over time. The terms you agree to are the terms posted on our website, and are valid as of the date posted on our website.
These terms and conditions are governed by Scottish Law.
Booking
Bookings can only be made by telephoning 01988 700489 or online via our website – kingsgreencaravanpark.com
Your booking is valid from 12:00 noon on your chosen day of arrival. You are welcome to arrive early but you may have to wait until your pitch is vacated by previous holiday makers, depending on season and volume of visitors.
Your booking is valid until 12:00 noon on your chosen day of departure.
Bookings are not transferable to any other parties.
By making a booking you agree that you or at least one member of your party is at least 21 years of age or over, you have the authority of all persons in your party to book on their behalf, you accept these terms and conditions and you agree to be responsible for any loss or damage caused by any member of your party.
If you have not booked in advance we cannot guarantee that a pitch will be available for you on your arrival.
Prices
Our current up to date prices are posted on our website and are valid as of the date posted on our website.
Pitch prices are on a daily rate basis, we endeavour to hold prices at a reasonable and stable rate over time but we do reserve the right to change these prices at any time.
Prices are inclusive of the use of toilet and shower blocks.
Pitches with an electric power supply are charged at a higher rate than those without an electric power supply, current prices in relation to these two different pitch types are posted on our website.
The use of laundry machines is not included in your booking, they are coin operated and prices are posted in the laundry room.
Promotions and long stay discount, on our part, do apply but we reserve the right to change or end these promotions at any time.
Payment
When booking, your card details will be entered into a secure payment system. We do not store these details they are stored on a secure server by a regulated industry professional third party.
Any deposit, interim or balance payments due will be taken from these stored card details.
The remainder of your balance due to us must be paid before arrival or on arrival at Kings Green Caravan Park.
All card payments must be made using a UK debit or credit card.
All cash payments must be made in UK Pounds Sterling.
Payment can be made by credit or debit card, either in advance or on arrival.
Payment, or balance payments (from those with or without a booking) can be made by cash, on arrival.
Certain card types may incur a charge, you will be notified of this and your permission will be sought before any payments are taken.
Cancellation and changes to your booking
Kings Green Caravan Park reserves the right to make changes to, or cancel your booking in the event of the park (or any part of the park) being closed for safety reasons. This could be due to flooding, high winds or any other condition, or event, which endangers you (the camper) or any of our staff members. Under these circumstances a FULL REFUND will be given in respect to your individual booking. We will be held liable for no other associated losses, other than the moneys previously paid to us by you (the camper).
Cancellations and changes to bookings made by you (the camper) are subject to these following terms and conditions –
If a cancellation is made within 7 days of your arrival your 25% deposit will not be refunded.
If a cancellation is made within 24 hours of your arrival full payment, for the full period of your booking will be due. If you have already paid in full no refund will be given. If you have a balance payment remaining it will be taken from stored card details.
We are human, and under exceptional or tragic circumstances we will waive these conditions if we deem that to be the appropriate action at the time.
Site rules and guidelines
• No trading / traders allowed on the park.
• The speed limit on all areas of the site is 5mph.
• Please site your caravan / tent at the designated pitch.
• If you arrive before 12 noon you may have to wait for your allocated pitch to be free.
• Waste water should be disposed of at the designated drain outside the main building only.
• There is a public footpath on the shore side of the site, please do not obstruct the path in any way e.g. tent pegs guy ropes etc.
• Toilets and showers are accessed by keys which can be obtained from the warden when booking on site.
• Children under the age of 10 years must be accompanied by an adult when using the toilet and shower block.
• Maximum stay – 21 days.
• A warden is available at various times throughout the day, please see the notice board for further information.
• Information on things to do and places to see are available from the reception / office.
• Although pets are welcome please respect others by cleaning up after them.
• No pets are allowed in the toilet and shower block.
• Please do not leave pets unattended in or outside vehicles, caravans, awnings or tents.
• Please respect others by keeping your dogs on a lead at all times within the park.
• For the enjoyment of all visitors please ensure noise levels are kept to a minimum between the hours of 10pm and 8am.
• We appreciate and act on ‘YOUR VIEWS AND COMMENTS’ so please feel free to complete the comments form and hand it in to the office or a warden.
• Please bag your rubbish before placing it in the bins.
• Please leave the site tidy for others to enjoy.
• On departure please vacate your pitch before 12 noon.
Visitors
Visitors to the site are welcome but cannot remain on the site between the hours of 10pm and 8am without having previously registered and paid for their stay.
Behaviour
Kings Green Caravan Park is a nice, quiet site, which is used by decent, reasonable people.
We like to keep it this way, therefore we expect any parties on the site to act in a reasonable and considerate manner towards both their own group, our staff members and to all other users of the site including members of the public.
If anyone is deemed to be causing any trouble or disruption to the amenity of the site we reserve the right to remove you from our premises, with no prior notice, and no refunds given.
Liability
None of the following limits or attempts to limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by OUR negligence or for any other matter in which it would be illegal or unlawful for us to attempt to evade our liability.
We are responsible for any foreseeable loss to you caused buy OUR negligence or failure. We will not be responsible for any losses that you suffer that are indirect or not foreseeable. These would include, but would not be limited to, loss of income or revenue, loss of business and loss of anticipated savings.
In general, excluding death or personal injury, where we are responsible for your loss, our maximum liability shall be no more than to refund the amount previously paid by you for your pitch.
As Kings Green Caravan Park is located on the sea shore in a rural area we do not accept responsibility for any damage, injury or inconvenience caused by plants, insects, animals, or inclement or extreme weather conditions.
We do not accept responsibility for anything that adversely affects your holiday that is outwith our control.
